Agua Caliente
Nate and I went there last Sunday. If you like turtles and palm trees, it's a great place to see both.

I sleep with cucumbers goggled on
to my eyes, never a puffy lid
I lie down with a soft animal
at my side, something fluffy
(breathing softly)
I dream of you, all your faces
merely aspects of Myself
I wake, back achy in the night
& stretch my muscles in delirium
I roll into the walls & they give
or I give, rather, & push out
through (atoms are atoms)
The night is boundless, nothing
but pools of stars & palm trees so
I float in the sky like an ignorant baby
not blissful, just—
